Located 45 minutes from downtown Marrakech, Caravan Agafay is an immersive experience in the desert–a playground for adults to connect around adventure and wellness programming. The 5-hectare camp is the perfect escape from the busy city life, creating a sense of seclusion amidst the vast views of the Atlas Mountains. Caravan Agafay is the second launch of its kind for Habitas’ Caravan, part of the Habitas family with the mission to bring out our inner child and inspire human connection through adventure and play.
Caravan by Habitas is Habitas’s artful interpretation of adult sleep-away camp, featuring Moroccan tents and communal gathering spaces. Inspired by Burning Man, the experience is rooted in the concepts of play, imagination and connection, and borrows from local Bedouin traditions around communal living.
Our programming is the backbone for creating unforgettable and magical moments. We invite guests from around the world to take part in experiences centered around exploration and discovery. Activities at Caravan Agafay include: Intimate Concerts, Bike Tours, Horseback Riding, Camel Trekking, Yoga & Mindfulness, Desert Survival Skills, Stargazing and more. The property features 40 Moroccan tents, a restaurant, two swimming pools, an outdoor cinema, and private horse and camel stables.
