LOCATION

In Indonesia’s remote Anambas archipelago.

150 nautical miles northeast of Batam Island in the North Natuna Sea between the Malaysian mainland to the west and the island of Borneo to the east.

 

HOW TO GET THERE

From Singapore: guests are picked up from the airport or their hotel . Bawah’s travel host escorts guests on a 30-minute ferry ride to the Indonesian island of Batam then guests are driven to Batam airport where they board AirFast’s amphibious seaplane for an 80-minute flight, landing on the water in the resort’s main lagoon. The roundtrip Transport Package is USD 980 per person.

From Batam: guests may opt to fly directly into the Hang Nadim Airport (BTH) where they will be met upon arrival for direct transfer to AirFast’s amphibious seaplane or guests are picked up from their hotel then guests are driven to Batam airport.

By Private Jet:  Guests should plan to fly directly into the Hang Nadim Airport (BTH) for direct transfer to AirFast’s amphibious seaplane.

​By Private Yacht: For guests travelling via private yacht. Reservations are required for mooring and there are size limitations within Bawah Reserve lagoons.

Good to know​: Up to 4 seaplane flights per day, 7 days per week.

Baggage allowance: strictly 15 kg, inc. hand luggage, due to seaplane weight restrictions. Excess luggage may be stored with our ground staff. An overnight stay in Singapore or Batam is recommended before your trip due to our early morning pick up times.
