The carpentry workshop is located on the grounds of El Otro Lado. It has come to represent an extraordinary effort to preserve and teach the skills and traditions of local carpenters, using native techniques and tropical hardwoods for carving animals, building construction, joinery and furniture.
The workshop provides employment to more than 15 professionals as well as an apprentice environment for the community’s youth.
