Castello di Vicarello is a 12th Century Castle purchased in the 1970’s by Aurora and Carlo Baccheschi Berti, the couple and their family have lovingly restored the characterful building that boasts influences and interiors from the family’s travels across the globe. Leading the hotel into a new generation is son, Neri, accompanied by a youthful and highly experienced global team of hospitality professionals. The hotel offers a farm to table approach, whereby the culinary staff prioritize producing dishes that include ingredients from the hotel’s estate, and small local food producers. Highly successful award-winning vineyard managed by son Brando — Castello di Vicarello and Terre di Vico wines are inspired by Bordeaux, but with a strong reference to Tuscany. Organic focus on olive oil production and other products produced from the land such as jams, preserved tomato and sauces, pickles and wild boar

Unique experiences include cooking classes, wine tastings, truffle hunting, outdoor massage treatments, picnic and bbq outdoor dining, yoga classes, horse-back riding, private boat tours, leather-working courses, and natural thermal bath tours are all available to guests, upon request.
