Meadowstone Manor in the Summer Season

We're sharing Stowe, VT with you where Meadowstone Manor is ready for the season! Warm weather is there this season is something else entirely. The forests are pushing up ramps and rhubarb, perfect for anyone who loves to forage. They've cut new hiking trails through the fields, and the wildflowers are in full bloom. The trees have filled in beautifully, and the streams throughout the property are running strong after an exceptional winter snowpack — they add a kind of brightness and sound to everything that's hard to describe until you've heard it. The wildlife has been extraordinary. Hawks circle overhead, wild turkeys wander through, and a pair of geese on the pond just welcomed two goslings. The herons are back visiting in the mornings, and at night the owls are in full voice.
On the property, the pool is open, the clay tennis courts have been freshly rolled, and pickleball is all set up. They've also just installed new stone paths, and the planting beds seem to be producing something new every single day. The days are gloriously long right now — the sun is up by 5:30 in the morning and doesn't set until nearly 9 at night. The weather has been stunning, though admittedly it did snow at the top of Mount Mansfield this past Saturday, which only added to the drama of the landscape. And Stowe itself is in full swing. The Sunday farmers market is a favorite experience — extraordinary local cheeses, some of the most remarkable artisan breads ever tasted, fresh meats, prepared foods, and always wonderful live music. The rivers are running high and fast from the snowmelt, which makes for incredible rafting, and the trout fishing has been exceptional for those who fly fish.
The sunsets overlooking the mountains will stop guests in their tracks every evening!
Meadowstone Manor is one of Vermont’s most impressive private estates. With 14 bedrooms, this grand, four-season retreat offers a rare blend of scale, seclusion, and refined comfort. The on-site amenities include private hiking trails, two full-sized tennis courts, a pickleball court, a heated swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, a yoga studio, and the Manor’s own pub lounge with a pool table.
Inside, the home brings the outdoors in with panoramic windows, natural stone and wood accents, and an earth-toned palette that reflects the surrounding landscape. Multiple wood-burning fireplaces create warm gathering spaces, while each bedroom serves as its own retreat—complete with ensuite bathrooms, fine linens, and a private balcony or terrace.
