The Elang Private Residence at Bawah Reserve

The Elang Private Residence at Bawah Reserve is a private island that was originally designed to be the owner’s holiday home, but now the Elang Private Residence is open for booking, as an exclusive buyout!   This secluded island, available exclusively, offers guests the ultimate holiday experience, with personalised amenities, private butler service, bespoke dining and full access to the rest of the Reserve. 

Arriving guests will travel by air on the reserves, private seaplane, and will be escorted on the three minute boat ride to Elang Island from Bawah Island’s jetty.

Elang is a petite island that is blanketed in a variety of native trees and surrounded by turquoise coral lagoons, offering expansive views of the ocean. The island features several facilities, including five one-bedroom lodges and The Longhouse, which is a two-bedroom lodge. Guests can enjoy dining at The Club House, which serves as a dining room and bar, as well as The Beach House restaurant. For relaxation and wellness, Kayu Spa is available, along with a saltwater infinity pool. Additionally, there is an activities lawn and a private beach for visitors to enjoy.

The six Cliffside Lodges accommodate between 14 to 20 guests and offer a range of luxurious amenities. Guests enjoy personal butler service, air conditioning, and ceiling and bed canopy fans. The lodges feature island-wide Wi-Fi, an iPad with a music docking station, and an IDD telephone. Each lodge is equipped with a stocked minibar, a pantry filled with snacks, teas, and a coffee machine, as well as handmade board games. Guests are provided with robes, slippers, and ponchos, along with beach bags, towels, and sun hats. Daily housekeeping, laundry and pressing services, and safety boxes are also available for added convenience.
