Sol y Luna is in the process of refurbishing 28 Superior Casitas. The newly decorated suites have a contemporary feel to complement the original Peruvian art, as well as local alpaca throws. Not just any hotel, Sol y Luna was founded in order to sustain a school for local children in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Family-run, the 43-casitas are nestled in beautiful gardens - think top accommodation, seasonal gastronomy and unique excursions (paragliding, riding, visiting ancient ruins), and all for a good cause of supporting education.

Explore the epic and untouched Andes Mountains surrounding Sol y Luna with Viento Sur founded by North Face athlete, Thomas Schilter. Thomas is the son of Sol y Luna Owner & Founder, Petit Miribel, he was born in Cuzco and educated at the Sol y Luna School (part of the Sol y Luna Foundation).
