Sweet Bocas is a majestic 20,000 square foot, three-story, nine-bedroom full-service luxury villa constructed entirely out of Panamanian teak, built atop over 100 cement stilts and connected to a six hectare (15 acres) island/property by a 130-meter dock.

Sweet Bocas is dedicated to providing a conscious travel experience that in turn creates a positive impact for the indigenous communities of Bocas del Toro, Panama. They have self imposed strict environmental standards, support and employ members of local communities and partner with locally embedded organizations. They are proud to support education, sponsor scholarships and continue the sustainable empowerment of hundreds of individuals in Bocas del Toro. Additionally, everything served at Sweet Bocas is inspired by the food grown in the greenhouses and farm, the natural abundance of local resources and the desires of guests. They are committed to sustainability and continue to evolve and improve farming practices. The head chef grows the food in alignment with his culinary vision. Under his direction, the team prepares and nurtures seedlings in the greenhouse that are transplanted to the gardens to be analyzed and adapted for the climate, new rotations and variations. They have built partnerships with local communities to share knowledge and bring more awareness to better farming practices, organic produce and good nutrition.
