Byblos is like a charming hilltop village. From the outside, its 40 rooms and 51 suites look like quaint fisherman's cottages painted in bold yellows and pinks with beautiful blue shutters; inside they are wonderfully spacious and chicly designed, each individually so. Some of the rooms have been recently renovated and are more contemporary. Not that one would spend too much time in the room. The heart of the hotel is undoubtedly by the pool. During the day, it's the place to soak up the sunshine or take a swim, the water is heated so even out of season you can enjoy a dip. At night it's where the party starts; in the height of summer there can be as many as 600 people sipping cocktails by the pool.
